About the job
Our client, a major player in distribution in the healthcare sector in Switzerland, supplies pharmacies, hospitals and medico-social institutions daily from their logistics centre in western Lausanne. To strengthen their technical team of five people, they have commissioned us to recruit a:
Industrial Maintenance Automation Technician / Electrician 100%
- Federal VET Diploma (CFC) as an electrician, automation technician or equivalent training; OIBT authorisation art. 13 or willingness to obtain it
- Practical experience in industrial automation, ideally on conveyor lines, and good knowledge of Siemens SIMATIC
- Comfortable reading technical documents and proficient in MS Office
- Fluent French spoken and written, as well as German or English at a minimum B2 level
- Autonomous, organised and reliable personality, able to keep calm under pressure, and living within 45 minutes of the site for on-call duty

- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial installations
- Analyse breakdowns, identify causes and sustainably restore equipment to service
- Work on automated installations, especially conveyor lines, and diagnose malfunctions on Siemens SIMATIC (without programming)
- Regularly check equipment and propose improvements to guarantee availability
- Coordinate interventions with internal services and external partners, working 2x8 shifts, about one Saturday per month and on-call duty according to schedule
