At the Winterthur Vocational Baccalaureate School, we open up new perspectives for young adults. With our diverse offerings, we lay the foundation for a successful professional and personal future.
We offer the vocational baccalaureate courses 1 and 2 in the specialisations "Technology, Architecture and Life Sciences" as well as "Health and Social Affairs".
Currently, around 1,500 students are taught by approximately 90 dedicated teachers. Twelve staff members from administration, operations and IT services also ensure the smooth running of everyday school life.
At the start of the 2027/28 school year, we are looking for one to two teachers with special tasks for the German subject with a workload of 150-200%.
We offer the vocational baccalaureate courses 1 and 2 in the specialisations "Technology, Architecture and Life Sciences" as well as "Health and Social Affairs".

Your profile
You have a professional and pedagogical-didactic university degree for secondary school teachers (including vocational pedagogy) or an equivalent qualification.
In addition, you bring teaching experience at this level and meet the requirements for employment as a vocational school teacher with special tasks (permanent employment with special duties).

We offer a varied activity in a motivated team of teachers. On the one hand, you teach learners from commercial-industrial and nursing professions and, on the other hand, you specifically prepare young professionals for their university of applied sciences studies.
Your employment is in accordance with the provisions of the Secondary and Vocational School Teachers Ordinance of the Canton of Zurich and includes participation in the school development process and collaboration in the subject departments.
