Department: Finance & Services
Start date: From 1 August 2026 or by arrangement
E-media
- Acquisition of e-media, including licensing and provision as well as ensuring access to e-resources at ZHAW
- Contract management, invoice control & maintenance of documentation
- Communication with suppliers and customers
Cataloguing/Collection Management
- Cataloguing of media in Alma according to RDA in the Alma library system
- Planning and organisation of collection management including collection analyses, audits and deselection projects of library and institute collections
- Collaboration in the further development of workflows and processes as well as their documentation
Information/Loan
- Shifts at the information and loan desk according to the duty roster
- General communication with users as well as information and advisory activities
- Collaboration in various customer service tasks (e.g. courier and document deliveries, service offerings)
- Completed degree in Information and Documentation (BSc)
- Professional experience in the scientific library environment
- Experience in the field of e-media as well as with licences & licence agreements
- Proficient with a modern integrated library system (Alma) and in the functional areas of acquisition, cataloguing and loan
- Sound knowledge of the RDA rules
- Good knowledge of Office applications and openness to further tools and applications
- Very good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Strong communication and teamwork skills as well as a professional, service-oriented manner
- Enjoyment of a versatile role in a dynamic, self-organised environment
