Apprentice Production Mechanic EFZ

1 apprenticeship position from August 2027 As an apprentice production mechanic, you are the specialist for the manufacture of mechanical-technical components made of metal, which you assemble into devices, apparatuses and machines. The Energy Supply section of Flughafen Zürich AG operates a modern combined heat and power plant and supplies the airport with heat and electricity, taking into account high availability and ecological compatibility. You will be specifically trained for the control, maintenance and assembly work of the numerous gate systems with impressive hangar gates as well as various mechanical heat supply systems. Your job destination

• You will learn how to assemble various metal components into complex devices, apparatuses and machines
• You will take on responsible tasks in the control and maintenance of numerous gate systems, including the impressive hangar gates
• You will work with the latest technical devices and machines and learn to handle the most modern mechanics and technology

Your skills in your luggage

• You have successfully completed the compulsory schooling at secondary level (or higher)
• You are interested in mechanics, hydraulics and locksmith work
• Your manual dexterity and practical aptitude distinguish you
• You are flexible, resilient and have a high willingness to learn and perform
• Your working method is characterised by independence, reliability and a sense of responsibility
• A quick grasp and a love of logical thinking are among your strengths
• You enjoy expressing yourself fluently in German, both spoken and written
