What is the role about?
You ensure the stable operation of the production system, analyse disruptions, and competently support users in day-to-day operations. Additionally, you optimise the Manufacturing Execution System (MES), accompany digitalisation projects, and promote sustainable knowledge development within the department.
What tasks will you undertake?
- You ensure the stable operation of the production system and coordinate incidents, service requests, and problems efficiently and solution-oriented.
- You analyse production disruptions and root causes, provide 1st level support, and assist downstream support units as a competent contact person.
- You manage system-relevant master data, authorisations, and resources, ensuring a reliable system landscape.
- You capture new requirements and change requests, implement them, and actively drive the continuous optimisation of production processes with the MES.
- You participate in digitalisation and MES projects, train new users, create training materials, and secure sustainable knowledge development within the department.
What do we expect from you?
- You have completed training or studies in business informatics, industrial engineering, or a comparable field.
- You bring experience with SAP ME or a comparable MES system and ideally knowledge of SAP ERP.
- You possess a solid understanding of production, logistics, and manufacturing processes and identify optimisation potentials along the value chain.
- You work analytically, think process-oriented, and ideally have experience in incident, problem, and change management.
- You communicate complex matters clearly and convince through your enthusiasm for fault analysis and the development of sustainable solutions.
