A position of
Administrative Assistant 70%
is to be filled at the University of Neuchâtel to strengthen the team of the Secretariat of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities (FLSH).
The Faculty
With more than 2000 students, a Bachelor’s degree to compose from a choice of over 20 pillars, a Master’s in Arts and Humanities, a Master’s in Social Sciences and 6 specialised or inter-faculty/-university Masters, the Faculty of Arts and Humanities allows its students to follow a "à la carte" curriculum.
Activities
You will join the team of the Academic Secretariat of the FLSH and participate in the smooth administrative functioning of the faculty in the area of student reception, administrative monitoring of academic pathways and implementation of study plans.
In close collaboration with the existing team, you will be responsible for varied tasks and missions. You will notably participate in handling admission-related questions, operations linked to exams and closures, as well as existing procedures and their implementation. You will occasionally collaborate on various events such as welcome and information days and other degree award ceremonies. You will be called upon to join working groups and actively participate in the continuous improvement of the Academic Secretariat.
Desired Profile
Holding a Federal VET Diploma as a commercial employee or an equivalent qualification, you have at least 2 years’ experience in an administrative role. Knowledge of the academic world is a significant asset.
Organised and precise, you have writing skills, are capable of managing multiple tasks and prioritise teamwork. Furthermore, you are proficient with common IT tools (Office).
