SW Team Leader (Product Development)

Your Tasks

You develop embedded software in C/C++ within the scope of customer projects for products in medical technology and industry. In the interdisciplinary team, you implement technical concepts and develop hardware-near software on various processor architectures, real-time operating systems, and frameworks.

In addition, you will take on the following tasks:

• Personnel management, coaching, and further development of our software development team
• Planning, prioritising, and coordinating software development resources in collaboration with project managers
• Promoting professional skills and knowledge transfer within the team
• Further development of software development methods, engineering processes, and workflows
• Support with effort estimations, project staffing, and technical escalations
• Ensuring compliance with our development processes and quality standards
• Active participation in software development projects according to your professional skills
• Close collaboration with project managers, system engineers, software lead architects, and other engineering disciplines

Your Profile

• Degree (FH/ETH/University) in computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, or comparable education
• Several years of experience in software development
• Experience in leading employees or teams
• Structured, solution-oriented, and independent working style
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment in developing and motivating employees
• Very good German skills as well as English skills at C1 level
• Experience in embedded software development and knowledge in the medical technology environment are advantageous
