The EOC, the multi-site hospital of Ticino, is present with its institutes throughout the entire cantonal territory, with a total of 1,000 beds. The organisation effectively combines a local approach with an overall vision, ensuring the population a comprehensive and local hospital offer, regardless of where the services are required.
Thanks to the commitment and expertise of over 6,500 collaborators and their attention to human relations, the EOC ensures quality healthcare by caring for over 41,000 inpatients annually and providing over 600,000 outpatient consultations.
To complete our team in the Patient Management Service of the Regional Hospital of Lugano, we are looking for a:
Patient Management Clerk (80%)
Profile:
A person with excellent organisational and communication skills, able to respond to numerous requests with courtesy and speed.
The future collaborator is able to manage several activities simultaneously, has good management and project skills, and possesses solid technical and problem-solving abilities. They know how to manage their time effectively, focusing their efforts based on priorities with a view to optimising projects.
Reliability, availability, and seriousness, together with a particular sensitivity in trying to meet user requests, complete the required profile.
Necessary requirements:
- Federal certificate of commercial clerk with professional maturity and/or higher qualification
- Excellent knowledge of Italian, English, and the national languages
- Flexibility and availability for shift work according to service needs (day, evening, Saturday and public holiday shifts)
- Excellent command of main IT systems (Microsoft Excel and MS Office) and aptitude for using internal programmes and applications (SAP)
For administrative staff, there is no availability of parking spaces; therefore, the hired person must be able to get to work on foot or use public transport or motorcycle/scooter/bicycle.
