To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Team Leader Software and Hardware Engineering / Automation Engineer to start immediately or by arrangement.
What you can achieve with us:
In this leadership position, you are an integral part of mechatronics development and responsible for defining the electronics and software for new or further developed products. In doing so, you take into account the overarching and internal framework conditions such as standards and quality requirements for machine safety. You develop solution concepts for control and regulation technology and create effort estimates for both PLC and HMI programs as well as the design of electrical components and drive technology.
You program key functions, support our technicians during commissioning, and provide advice and assistance with changes. In collaboration with mechanical design, you lead, evaluate, and calculate the appropriate hardware for our high-tech applications. For extensive projects or prototypes, you take responsibility for outsourcing with our partners and plan internal personnel capacities in cooperation with other team leaders and supervisors.
With your experience, you contribute to the further development of our internal software/hardware standards and libraries. You support our support team, prepare documentation and descriptions, and conduct internal training for our employees.
What you bring:
From your training as a HF Automation Technician or FH System Technology/Mechatronics, you bring expertise in software and hardware development. Your experience in mechanical engineering and automation as well as in programming controls helps you efficiently master even demanding challenges. Preferably, you have already worked with TIA Portal and master, in addition to the classic programming languages FBD, LAD, STL, also SCL and JavaScript. Besides knowledge in E-Plan, you bring a high enthusiasm to further develop our products in this area. With your independent, flexible, and well-organized working style, you have and maintain an overview and help provide our customers with top service in English.
