What you can get moving.
- As Manager for Planning and Allocation of Track Laying Machines, you lead the team and ensure the economical, punctual, and safe availability of machines and transport vehicles, directly contributing to punctuality and customer satisfaction.
- You are responsible for the overall planning and scheduling of all machine and transport vehicle resources according to clear economic principles and in agreement with clients.
- You take technical responsibility for contracts, represent user interests in tenders and purchases, and monitor the budget and service delivery by external partners (SBB, BLS, and TPF).
- You continuously improve planning and allocation processes and systems and promote digitalisation together with the team.
- You collaborate cross-sectorally with internal and external stakeholders and ensure transparent communication and clear priorities.
What you bring with you.
- Thanks to your persuasiveness and assertiveness, you communicate purposefully and appropriately at all levels with various internal and external interlocutors.
- Ideally, you have experience in the railway sector and several years of managerial experience in a similar role.
- You have a basic technical or railway education and a technical degree at the level of a university of applied sciences, university, or have completed equivalent continuing education.
- Good operational knowledge of SAP systems and common Office applications is required. Additionally, you have an affinity for IT and are willing to become familiar with sector-specific applications.
- You have excellent German skills (min. C1) and are able to communicate in French (min. B1).
