Job Description
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the Secondary Operations department with 12 employees, including 2 team leaders
- Promotion, coaching and development of team leaders and employees
- Planning, control and prioritisation of daily production activities considering quality, delivery reliability and productivity
- Ensuring efficient shopfloor management and conducting production and team meetings
- Responsibility for production processes (manual assembly, selective soldering, panel depaneling, pressing, gluing, PCB washing and coating) as well as compliance with quality standards and IPC-A-610
- Continuous optimisation of processes and workflows as well as implementation of lean management and improvement measures
- Close collaboration with adjacent areas such as engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, SMT, test field and device construction
- Responsibility for occupational safety, order and cleanliness as well as support in the industrialisation of new products and processes
Qualifications
- Completed technical basic training in electronics, electrical engineering, automation technology, mechatronics or a comparable field
- Several years of professional experience in electronics manufacturing as well as sound knowledge of relevant secondary operations processes
- Very good knowledge of IPC-A-610 and experience in a quality-oriented production environment (IPC certification is required)
- At least three years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment as well as experience in developing and motivating employees
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing, continuous improvement process (CIP) or shopfloor management is an advantage
- Further training in leadership, production management or business administration is an advantage
- Entrepreneurial, structured and solution-oriented personality with high personal responsibility, strong communication skills and a hands-on mentality
