For our Modernisation Department in the Northwestern Switzerland region, we are looking for you as a committed Junior Construction Manager (m/f/d). In this role, you will work on the Nordbau project in Aarau in the refurbishment area.
As a Junior Construction Manager Refurbishment, you support the successful implementation of refurbishment and renovation projects and gradually take responsibility for your own sub-areas. You will work closely with the construction and project management teams, coordinate contractors and specialists, keep an eye on quality, costs and deadlines, and develop yourself purposefully into an independent construction manager.
Your responsibilities
- You accompany exciting refurbishment and building projects from planning to execution.
- You independently manage sub-projects and always keep quality, costs and deadlines in view.
- You prepare measurements, tenders according to NPK, construction programmes as well as subcontractor invoices.
- You coordinate the various project participants and promote efficient collaboration on site.
- You ensure compliance with safety, environmental and quality requirements and support project documentation.
Why you will succeed
- Completed training in construction (e.g. draughtsperson EFZ specialising in architecture, structural draughtsperson, technician HF, civil engineer FH/ETH) or a comparable qualification
- Initial professional experience of 1 to 2 years in the construction industry and interest in further development to construction manager
- Good knowledge of construction processes as well as a strong quality and responsibility awareness
- Independent, reliable and structured working style as well as assertiveness and negotiation skills
- Team-oriented personality with a high willingness to learn and motivation to gradually take on responsibility in exciting construction projects
