Police Officer: Caseworker Violence Protection/Threat Management (80-100%)
Your Tasks
- Conduct preliminary examinations and risk assessments to prevent (serious) violent crimes - also involving the Forensic Assessment & Risk Management (FFA) specialist unit
- Handle long-term violence protection cases in close cooperation with partner organisations
- Conduct interviews with potential offenders and at-risk persons as well as other measures to reduce risk
- Develop strategies for victim protection
- Provide professional and personnel support to the Investigations & Prevention main department (especially the Domestic Violence specialist unit) and other investigative services
Your Profile
- Police officer with federal diploma/certificate and at least 8 years of professional experience
- High physical and mental resilience as well as holistic and networked thinking
- Strong social and communication skills, confident and correct demeanour, and high team spirit
- A flair for interdisciplinary collaboration with partner organisations and strong perseverance
- Willingness to perform criminal police on-call duty at weekends and other assignments (e.g. public order service)
