Job Description
Make It Happen at Mondelēz International – Are you ready for it?
Shape the future of snacking with us. Do it with pride.
In this role, you are part of the Asset Reliability Team within the Maintenance & Repair department and responsible for the continuous improvement of maintenance processes.
You analyse and interpret maintenance key figures, derive targeted countermeasures and drive sustainable optimisation of plant availability through structured root cause analyses (RCA) and FMEAs. Furthermore, you develop the maintenance strategy towards future-oriented, condition-based methods (Condition Based Monitoring).
Your contribution
As part of your duties:
- you systematically evaluate maintenance key figures (KPIs), interpret trends and deviations, and initiate the correct corrective and preventive countermeasures
- you are the owner for the presentation and visualisation of maintenance KPIs in Power BI – you develop, maintain and optimise dashboards and reports for the M&R team and site management
- you conduct and lead root cause analyses (RCA) and failure mode and effects analyses (FMEA) together with the responsible trades (mechanics, electrical, automation) to systematically eliminate recurring faults
- you carry out new maintenance orders through a structured assessment process: evaluation according to safety, quality, criticality, costs and environment for prioritisation and inclusion in maintenance programmes
- you further develop the maintenance strategy towards future-oriented, condition-based measures (Condition Based Monitoring) – especially vibration analyses, temperature monitoring, oil analyses and other predictive technologies
- you define and implement new work standards and best practices to sustainably anchor improvements in maintenance
- you provide training on CI methods, analysis tools and new work standards and support the trades in applying structured problem-solving methods (PDCA, 5-Why, fishbone diagram)
- you support the implementation of IL6S working methods (Integrated Lean 6 Sigma): progressive maintenance, loss minimisation and elimination of recurring faults
- you work closely with internal stakeholders (production, quality assurance, EHS, planning, engineering) and drive cross-departmental improvement projects
What you bring
The desire to lead our company into the future and advance your career through experience and knowledge in the following areas:
- Completed technical training with further education as a certified technician HF or state-certified technician or industrial foreman.
- Several years of professional experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment, ideally in the food industry
- Sound knowledge in data analysis and visualisation, especially Power BI; experience in building and maintaining dashboards and KPI reports
- Experience in conducting and moderating RCA, FMEA and other structured problem-solving methods
- Knowledge of Condition Based Monitoring (CBM) and predictive maintenance technologies (vibration analysis, thermography, oil analysis) is an advantage
- Experience with SAP-PM
- Knowledge of relevant standards and norms in the food industry (HACCP, GMP)
- Understanding of IL6S/TPM methods and continuous improvement systems (Lean, Six Sigma)
- Confident handling of MS Office (especially Excel) and other data analysis tools
- Fluent knowledge of German and English
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills; ability to prepare and communicate complex data clearly
- High mediation competence and communication strength; ability to moderate across departments and drive improvement initiatives
