Around 700 employees from engineering, product management, manufacturing, logistics, sales and services work closely together here: engineers continuously develop new solutions, while the production and logistics teams ensure that the sensors arrive at the customers on time and in Baumer quality.

In this versatile position, you will handle service and repair orders for rotary encoders and force sensors and act as an important interface between quality management, sales and manufacturing. With your careful and independent working style, you make a decisive contribution to customer satisfaction and support the continuous improvement of our products and processes.

What I move

• Perform incoming goods inspection and technical assessment of returned components
• Plan, coordinate and prioritise service and repair orders
• Carry out mechanical repair, maintenance and refurbishment work on rotary encoders and force sensors
• Prepare repaired components for final inspection, documentation and shipping

What it takes

• Completed technical vocational training as a polymechanic or a comparable mechanical qualification
• Experience in production or industrial sector, ideally in assembly, maintenance or metalworking
• Good German language skills in spoken and written form, English skills are an advantage
• Independent, reliable and structured way of working
• Team spirit, flexibility and enjoyment of technical challenges
• Customer- and solution-oriented thinking and acting
