The Casino Barrière Montreux is looking for a Junior IT Operations Assistant
The position is based on the shores of Lake Geneva in Switzerland, within the Casino Barrière Montreux, in a sumptuous setting adorned with a panoramic view of the lake and the Alps, with an area of 10,000 m2 dedicated to entertainment. Casino Barrière Montreux is part of the leading French group, the Barrière group, and currently includes a bar, a restaurant, banquet and show rooms, a gaming room (259 slot machines, 47 electronic games, 19 gaming tables and 1 poker room with 5 poker tables, 4 Blackjack, 1 Diceball, 2 Ultimate Texas Hold’em tables, 1 reversible Blackjack and Punto Banco, and 6 English roulette tables), and shops.
YOUR MAIN TASKS WILL BE…
Within a team of 5 collaborators (IT Operations Manager, 1 assistant in charge of development and 2 apprentices)
- You support the IT Operations Manager to ensure the proper functioning of information systems and to provide quality services.
- You assist with the administration and operation of the entire system/network/telecom part of the 3 Barrière Group establishments in Switzerland: 180 workstations and about 80 servers.
- You ensure the proper use of the information system and the correct use of applications in compliance with the Group's guidelines.

YOUR PROFILE
IT specialist holding a Federal VET Diploma or higher. Experience in system and network administration.
Overall management and operation of the park: From deployment/mastering of workstations to troubleshooting and maintaining servers in operational condition.Windows & Infrastructure environment: Windows Client/Server, Active Directory, Hyper-V, MS SQL Server.Linux & Ecosystem environment: Administration under Ubuntu, Rocky Linux and AlmaLinux for managing specific applications, containerisation (Docker) and databases (MariaDB, PostgreSQL).User assistance & Support (Levels 1, 2 and 3): Full handling of incident tickets, resolution of complex problems and on-site troubleshooting.Monitoring and supervision: Tracking network assets and overall infrastructure performance.Collaborative tools: Good knowledge of Google Workspace is a plus.
Commitment and Mobility:
Holder of a driving licence, you are mobile and available to meet the demands of an operation open 7 days a week. Once trained, you accept the principle of on-call duty (evenings or weekends according to schedule) to ensure service continuity.

Field collaborator, you have a keen interest in the leisure sector. Your autonomy and sense of initiative allow you to be operational quickly. You enjoy contact with all types of internal interlocutors. Rigorous and proactive, you like and know how to manage several files simultaneously.
