Development Engineer Device Construction/Plastics Technology 100% (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:
- Design of device concepts according to customer specifications (design and function)
- Development of solution proposals and presentation of development results
- Modeling of components (mainly design and technical plastic parts) on 3D-CAD Siemens NX
- Creation of drawings and specification of components based on functional, normative, economic, and process-related requirements
- Procurement, assembly, and evaluation of prototypes
- Support of the tool procurement process with international suppliers
- Management of the component release process with documentation in our tools
- Organization and execution of test series in close cooperation with the production teams at the plants
- Support of series introduction at the respective production sites
Your qualifications:
- Completed vocational training as a draftsman, preferably further education to FH engineer (mechanical engineering/innovation) or plastics technician HF
- Several years of experience in product development, especially in the design of tool-compliant plastic parts
- Experience in creating technical drawings including ISO/GPS dimensioning
- Solid CAD knowledge, preferably Siemens NX / TC
- Very good technical imagination combined with a creative and innovative mindset
- Independent, precise, and structured way of working
- Team player, flexible, creative, and resilient
- English B1
