Team Leader Instrument Technician, 80-100%
Your tasks – our position
As team leader of the instrument technicians in the operating theatre, you are responsible for organising, coordinating and leading this team to ensure optimal patient care and the smooth running of operations.
- Leading, supporting and accompanying the team members
- Organising duty rosters and managing the personnel resources of the area
- Ensuring compliance with hygiene, safety and quality protocols
- Close collaboration with the interdisciplinary operating theatre team, surgeons, anaesthetists, nursing staff, sterilisation and logistics
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of practices and processes in the operating theatre
- Managing surgical materials and monitoring equipment
- Contributing to the team’s skills development
Your skills – our requirements
- Qualification as an operating theatre nurse or an equivalent recognised qualification
- Proven experience in the operating theatre
- Experience in team leadership or strong leadership qualities would be advantageous
- Organisational skills, leadership qualities and excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise and work in a demanding environment
- Mastery of hygiene and safety standards in the operating theatre
- Very good German skills and the ability to communicate in French
- Team spirit, willingness to cooperate and motivation to further develop the team of operating theatre assistants
