Department Head Continuing Education
The Construction Vocational School Zurich (BBZ) – a cantonal institution –
has 4,200 learners and students in vocational basic and continuing education
and is considered the actual competence center of the construction industry. Additionally, the BBZ offers a higher technical school, as well as preparatory courses for federal higher professional and vocational examinations.
To complement our school management team at the Reishauer schoolhouse, we are looking for a personality with a passion for leadership tasks starting August 17, 2026

Your interesting tasks include
- Personnel, financial, and professional leadership and further development of the department
- Creating and maintaining a working climate that encourages teachers to achieve high professional and pedagogical performance
- Assisting in the design of educational programs
- Creating the timetable
- Implementing promotional measures for continuing education
- Teaching commitment in basic or continuing education
What we expect from you as Department Head Continuing Education
- Professional qualification at tertiary level A or B
- Pedagogical diploma training (EHB/PHZH) as a vocational school teacher in a full-time position
- Condition for employment as a vocational school teacher mbA, according to MBVO Kt. Zurich
