YOUR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
- Development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the company’s environmental strategy
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant environmental laws, regulations, and internal standards
- Maintenance and further development of the environmental management system (e.g. ISO 14001)
- Planning and implementation of measures to reduce environmental impact and improve sustainability performance
- Conducting environmental analyses, audits, and risk assessments
- Collection, evaluation, and reporting of environmental indicators (energy, emissions, waste, water, etc.)
- Support of projects regarding environmental and sustainability requirements
- Contact person for authorities, certification bodies, and internal stakeholders
- Raising awareness and training of managers and employees on environmental and sustainability topics
- Participation in ESG, sustainability, and decarbonisation projects
YOUR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
- Completed studies in environmental sciences, environmental engineering, sustainability management, or comparable education
- Professional experience in environmental management within an industrial, production, or service company
- Sound knowledge of relevant environmental legislation as well as ISO 14001 standards and ideally ISO 50001
- Experience in project management and implementation of improvement measures
- Analytical and structured working style as well as strong sense of responsibility
- Communicative personality with assertiveness
- Independent, solution-oriented, and pragmatic working style
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
- Confident use of MS Office and experience with environmental and reporting tools is an advantage
