To complete its team, the Computer-Aided Engineering Group is looking for a Bioinformatician/Technician
Job-related information
Start date: 15.06.2026 / to be agreed
Contract duration: 1 year, renewable twice for 2 years
Activity rate: 100%
Workplace: SE-C building, Epalinges
Your activities
In your activities, you will be expected to:
- Provide structural bioinformatics support to the various projects of the Computer-Aided Engineering Group
- Identify potential users for structural bioinformatics services
- Carry out and participate in scientific outreach activities
- Provide support in project management
- Participate in the drafting of funding applications
Your profile
We are looking for a person with the following skills:
- Master's degree or DEA or equivalent in molecular modelling
- Master's degree or DEA or equivalent in chemistry
- Holder of the Project Management Professional certification (must be valid)
- Minimum 10 years of experience in project management
- Communication and interaction with external collaborators
- Transmission and enhancement of scientific knowledge
- Fluent written and spoken English (level C2)
- Fluent written and spoken French (level C2)
- Use of the Linux computer system (Bash, awk, etc.)
- Use of the Microsoft Office suite
