Professional Application Manager (m/f/d)

Role:
In the role as specialist responsible for business applications IT, you actively shape demanding cable car projects and bring your broad expertise into complex business processes. In this role, you take responsibility for the efficient use, further development and optimisation of central business applications. You analyse requirements from various departments, translate them into viable IT solutions and ensure their smooth integration into the existing system landscape. You are also responsible for the quality, stability and future viability of the applications and ensure sustainable improvements through your commitment and experience. Through your coordinating role, you promote collaboration between specialists and IT, thus making a decisive contribution to the success of complex projects.
Responsibilities:
- As specialist responsible for business applications IT, you act as the central contact person for internal and external stakeholders in the area of applications
- You ensure stable operation, maintenance and continuous further development of the business applications
- In this role, you plan and organise testings and rollouts and align the application portfolio optimally with business processes
- You conduct internal training on specialised applications and support employees in daily operations
- As specialist responsible for business applications IT, you create and maintain meaningful documentation and support the IT service desk team
- In this role, you proactively participate in various IT projects and contribute your expertise to the further development of the IT landscape
Qualifications:
- Completed training in computer science with several years of professional experience or comparable higher qualification
- Several years of practice in administration, support and maintenance of applications
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server/Clients as well as Microsoft Cloud
- Proactive, systematic and independent working style with strong problem-solving skills
- Very good communication and teamwork skills as well as good German and English skills (French advantageous)
- Willingness to travel within Switzerland and driving licence category B
