Area of responsibility:
- Attending to guests in our F&B outlets
- Serving and clearing food
- Confident handling of the food and drink menu
- Preparation and follow-up work to ensure smooth service operations
- Compliance with all hygiene regulations
- Proper handling of machines and equipment in service
Requirements
- First professional experience in upscale service
- Strong reliability, resilience, and team spirit
- Warm, professional guest care
- Structured working method and confident appearance – even in demanding situations
- Neat appearance and exemplary manners
- Very good language skills in German and English, French is an advantage

The Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois in Basel, with its nearly 350-year history, is one of Europe’s most traditional hotels. Located directly on the Rhine and in the heart of Basel’s old town, it combines historic charm with timeless elegance. In 82 stylishly furnished rooms and suites, guests enjoy exclusive comfort and lived hospitality.
Culinary excellence is offered by the Grand Hotel Les Trois Rois with a diverse range: the gourmet restaurant Cheval Blanc by Peter Knogl, awarded three Michelin stars, 19 GaultMillau points, and ranked number 1 on La Liste 2025 among the world’s best restaurants; the Brasserie Les Trois Rois with 15 GaultMillau points; and an elegant bar with award-winning cocktails.
A new chapter in the hotel’s history was opened with the renovation of the main building by Herzog & de Meuron. New rooms and suites, versatile event spaces, the Banks restaurant – Basel’s new meeting point with European-Asian cuisine and a sharing concept – as well as the Japanese-inspired wellbeing area Seijaku, an oasis of calm in the middle of the city, were created.
