About the job
GVTG is an independent public-law service company based in Frauenfeld. It is managed according to non-profit but economic principles and insures buildings in the canton of Thurgau against fire and natural hazards, supports the fire brigades, and deals with damage prevention in the interest of protecting people and property. The legal mandate of GVTG is primarily based on the Building Insurance Act and the Fire Protection Act.

What awaits you with us
- You lead and develop the Finance Department and areas of central services and manage a team of two employees as a motivated and qualified leader
- You are responsible in particular for all aspects of accounting, financial planning, budgeting, annual financial statements, and the entire accounting system
- You are responsible for VAT and stamp tax returns
- You prepare meaningful reports, statistics, and analyses as well as other decision-making bases
- You initiate and lead company projects or participate in them
- You ensure that the service levels of your department are achieved
- You are responsible for the real estate of GVTG
- You take the minutes in the investment committee of the board of directors

Your profile
- You have a higher degree in finance
- You have extensive professional experience in independently managing the general and subsidiary ledgers
- You are a reliable, analytically thinking personality with a structured, precise working style and high quality orientation
- You are independent, confident in balance sheets, goal-oriented, and trustworthy
- You are an experienced leader with several years of leadership experience
- You bring conceptual and methodological skills
- You have project management experience
- Open and transparent communication as well as a pronounced customer and service orientation are natural to you
- You have confident German language skills and are proficient with common IT tools
