Job Description

We are looking for a Data Analytics Engineer specialised in Looker, capable of structuring and enhancing data to make it accessible, reliable and usable by business teams.

At the interface between technical teams and business users, you will contribute to designing robust data models and developing analytical tools that facilitate decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Structure, transform and prepare data to make it usable by business teams.
• Design and maintain data models in Looker, notably using LookML.
• Develop and optimise data transformations with dbt.
• Write and optimise SQL queries to ensure quality and performance of processing.
• Design reliable analytical tools and dashboards tailored to user needs.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into relevant analytical solutions.
• Ensure consistency, reliability and maintainability of data models.
• Collaborate with Data and business teams to promote adoption of analytical tools.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Data Analytics Engineering or a similar role.
• Proficiency in Looker (excluding Looker Studio) and LookML, especially for data modelling.
• Strong skills in SQL.
• Practical experience with dbt for data transformation and modelling.
• Ability to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Analytical mindset, autonomy and good communication skills.
• Fluent French is essential, as it is the daily working language.
• Knowledge of the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
