Massage Therapist at 50%
Your mission
- Provide massage therapy sessions based on the assessment of specific needs while ensuring the comfort, dignity, and safety of residents
- Promote autonomy and self-determination
- Observe the general condition of the people massaged, particularly regarding personal hygiene and health. If necessary, share information with educational teams and the health service
- Plan sessions taking into account various data
- Ensure the preparation of sessions and write follow-up notes
- Participate in the development and preparation of summaries
- Collaborate with the team of therapists and participate in activities, team meetings, and Foundation development projects
- Develop and maintain collaboration with various teams by participating in interdisciplinary sessions and networks to ensure coherent follow-up with the resident's individual support plan
- Perform all administrative tasks related to the role
Your profile
- You hold a recognised qualification in Therapeutic Massage or an equivalent title authorising practice in Switzerland
- Additional training in the field of care is a real asset
- Minimum 5 years of prior experience
- Significant experience with people presenting intellectual disabilities and associated disorders
- Proven mastery of various massage techniques aimed at therapeutic and relaxing purposes
- Ability to adapt to evolving needs
- Organisational skills and ability to work both independently and in a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy, proactivity, physical and mental resilience to cope with complex situations
- Listening skills and ability to promote interdisciplinary collaboration
- Writing skills and ease in using basic IT tools (emails, Word, etc.)
