Head of Event and Themed Cruises (a)
80% - 100% Lucerne
We are looking for a new Head of Event and Themed Cruises (a) for 80-100% starting 1 January 2027 or by arrangement
These are your tasks
- As part of the management team and a member of the executive board, you help shape the success story of our gastronomy on Lake Lucerne
- You give our service culture a face and inspire employees and guests with your authentic and approachable leadership
- You take on the operational and personnel management of the service area and, together with your team, ensure a professional, warm and smooth guest service
- You develop, coordinate and accompany our diverse events and themed cruises, making every trip a special experience
- You think entrepreneurially, keep budgets under control and actively contribute to sustainable business success
- You promote our Chefs de Service, recognise potential and develop strong teams for the future
- You network people and information, participate in management and executive meetings, lead briefings and ensure transparent communication
- You are where it counts: in the thick of things. On busy days, you support your teams directly on board and live hospitality with heart and passion
What we expect from you
- You have successfully completed hotel management school or an equivalent education and training
- You bring solid experience from the gastronomy sector
- You have leadership experience and know how to lead a team with clarity, appreciation and enthusiasm
- You love events, think holistically and move confidently between guests, employees and internal interfaces
- You keep an overview even when several topics gain momentum simultaneously
- You appreciate a varied working day that combines strategic, administrative and operational tasks
- You are flexible and appreciate the special features of gastronomy: working weekends, public holidays or evenings is a matter of course for you
- You communicate confidently in German and ideally have additional language skills
