Your tasks:
- You are responsible for ordering and scheduling machine technology (e.g. tamping machines, rail laying units, track and railway cranes)
- Your tasks also include managing the logistics of construction projects by developing and implementing an economical logistics plan
- You coordinate all processes of site logistics, including on-site coordination involving internal and external parties, and you are responsible for monitoring internal and external logistics services
- Ensuring the performance-, cost-, schedule- and quality-compliant execution of logistics services is within your area of responsibility
- As a Construction Logistics Coordinator: Track Construction, your duties also include attending construction meetings, close communication with site management, and building and maintaining customer contacts
- You provide instruction to employees on site and are also responsible for ensuring compliance with operational and occupational safety regulations within the scope of site logistics
Your profile:
- You have successfully completed vocational training, e.g. as an industrial clerk, freight forwarding clerk, or master in railway operations; alternatively, you have many years of experience in construction site logistics
- You have already gained experience in scheduling and customer service or in leading employees
- You can define goals concretely, work in an organised and independent manner to achieve them while considering economic aspects
- Good manners with confident demeanour, teamwork skills, conflict resolution skills, and a high degree of flexibility characterise you
- You are structured and always keep an overview even in stressful situations – working with IT tools (e.g. MS Office) is natural for you
- You hold a category B driving licence, enjoy travelling, and appreciate variety in everyday site work
- Working day shifts, and if necessary also at night, on weekends or public holidays, does not bother you, and you are willing to have your health suitability checked by an occupational physician during the selection process
