Senior Physician Nephrology (m/f/d)

Responsibilities

• Specialist medical care of patients with renal replacement therapies (haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, kidney transplantation)
• Independent consultation activity in the specialised nephrology outpatient clinic
• Specialist medical care of nephrological patients in the inpatient area, including ward rounds and supervision of complex treatment courses
• Consultative advice to all clinics of the Bürgerspital, especially intensive care medicine

• Professional leadership and supervision of assistant and senior physicians as well as active participation in their training, further education and continuing education
• Co-responsibility for the organisation as well as the strategic and qualitative further development of the nephrology department, including optimisation of clinical processes and service offerings
• Active commitment to the continuous quality development of the clinic and the promotion of interprofessional collaboration

Profile

• Specialist title in nephrology or equivalent further training recognised in Switzerland (MEBEKO)
• Several years of clinical experience in all areas of nephrology with proven expertise in dialysis procedures and transplant medicine
• Leadership experience and demonstrated interest in a senior role
• Enjoyment of interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaboration
• High patient orientation as well as pronounced social and communication skills
• Very good German language skills in spoken and written form (at least level C1); additional language skills are an advantage
• Commitment to teaching, further education and clinical innovation
