Inclusion Specialist with Focus on Refugees/Migration, 70%
As part of a newly created role, we are looking for a committed individual from 1 January 2027 or by arrangement as
These are your main tasks:
- Content leadership: You are responsible for your specialist and subject area strategically and operationally within the organisation.
- Consultation: You advise our employees and teams on the topic, provide conceptual input, and initiate further developments.
- Knowledge transfer: You prepare specialist content for internal teams, media, and advocacy work (statements, consultations, etc.).
- Networking: You maintain contacts with partner organisations, authorities, and key stakeholders.
- Media work: You support the communications department as an expert in statements and specialist questions.
Ideally, you bring the following:
- You have a university degree (Uni/FH) or comparable qualification and at least 3 years professional experience in a similar role, ideally in the NGO sector.
- You have professional and ideally biographical expertise in the field of inclusion with a focus on migration (economic, social and political participation, protection against discrimination).
- You bring an understanding of systemic contexts and their practical classification.
- Your language skills in German and French are confident and you have good English skills.
- You are experienced in public appearances, consultation, and cross-cultural communication to effectively reach different target groups
- You are well connected in the inclusion and, if possible, in the migration sector in Switzerland
- You appreciate agile structures with personal responsibility and scope for action and contribute openly and proactively to a learning organisation.
- You enjoy collaboration at strategic and operational levels.
- You work team-oriented, are resilient and flexible.
