Within the Centre’s structure, the Insights Lead, Gender Parity, will specialize in shaping thought leadership activities and insight products, with an objective to deliver tangible impact on more inclusive economies and societies.
Reporting lines and interactions
The Insights Lead will work within the Centre’s matrix structure, reporting to the Head of their corresponding thematic Mission, with guidance from the relevant functional practice Head. The Lead will work closely with other staff across the Centre and the organization to deliver outcomes efficiently.
Main responsibilities:

Co-lead exploration, research, data collection and drafting of the 2026 edition of the Global Gender Gap Report . This means project managing preparations for the 2026 report including new data explorations, contributions from external data partners, conducting and leveraging relevant data analysis, and drafting report content.

Lead the management of the Global Future Council on the Future of Investing in Gender Parity. This includes developing the agenda for council meetings, co-facilitating meetings, and advancing the content development and production of an insight piece by the Council to be launched end-2025.

Contribute to insights dissemination, preparation of materials and visuals for Forum events, and to additional insights pieces within the portfolio of the team.

Ensure the implementation of harmonized approaches and methods across the thematic portfolio of work through coordination within the insights function and keep a consistent focus on ambitious impact and engagement outcomes.
The successful candidate will be assessed on

Outstanding writing and editorial skills; analysing and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative data in support of insight development; data visualization.

Focused approach to applied research, analysing, synthesizing and leveraging quantitative and qualitative data

Formulating strategies and detailed workplans for activities, in alignment with the mission team and corresponding functional practice(s), integrating multiple views and evolving and innovating within a rapidly shifting context.

Agile coordination and management of insight methodologies, benchmarking frameworks, and data-based narratives

Ability to collaborate efficiently and transparently within the team as a strong team player, in an agile matrix organization and with external partners.

Ensuring that results and milestones are documented consistently and regularly shared with internal and external stakeholders.

Fluency in the use of internal and external digital platforms and tools for activity design, project management and constituent engagement.

Keeping abreast of relevant issues, developments, initiatives and stakeholders pertinent to the Centre’s broader remit and objectives, as well as specifically within the thematic Mission corresponding to their activity portfolio.
Requirements and preferred experience
-
Proven track record in the drafting and production of institutional insight products and thought leadership pieces, with a view to readability and application, dedication to interdisciplinary approaches.

Excellent writing, digital and verbal communication skills; data and analytical fluency, as well experience in managing and nurturing communities of experts.

Advanced university degree in economics, data science, public or social policy, business or other relevant fields, including substantive knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies.

7+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally across business, government, non-profit, international organization and/or think tanks.

Fluency with statistical tools such as R, Python, STATA, advanced knowledge of Excel.

Proven excellent project management and coordination skills; attention to detail; capacity to apply critical thinking, synthesize various viewpoints, consult broadly, work collaboratively in a multicultural team, and manage both long- and short-term objectives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Track record and interest in using insights to drive impact and systems change in one or several of the areas covered by the Centre’s Missions.

Excellent teamwork, collaboration and operational management skills.
