Job Description
Main responsibilities:
- Direct assistance to the person in daily activities (personal hygiene, feeding, mobilization)
- Measurement of vital signs (blood pressure, heart rate, body temperature, respiratory rate and oxygen saturation)
- Collaboration in the administration of therapies according to nursing team indications
- Execution of dressings and wound care according to nursing plans
- Execution of venous blood draws and collection of samples for diagnostic tests
- Monitoring the general condition of the user and timely reporting of changes within the team
- Active participation in the management of care plans
- Knowledge and application of hospital hygiene standards
- Maintenance and cleaning/disinfection of equipment, devices and furniture
- Collaboration in the administrative activities of inpatient wards
Qualifications
Essential requirements:
- Federal Certificate of Capacity (AFC)
- Swiss citizenship or C permit
- Native Italian speaker
- Availability and sensitivity towards people with illnesses, to provide personalized assistance and support
- Listening and therapeutic relationship skills
- Stress resistance
- Interest in working in a multidisciplinary team, facing changes openly and positively
- Flexibility and willingness to work shifts
- Knowledge of basic medical-technical procedures
Preferred requirements:
- Knowledge of another national language (German and/or French)
- Previous experience in the role
