About the job
Specialised Educational Support (SPS)
With an inclusive approach, Specialised Educational Support is aimed at pupils in mainstream schools (Years 1 to 11) presenting a neurodevelopmental disorder, difficulties related to the autism spectrum, with or without intellectual disability, significantly impacting their learning, communication and/or behaviour. Through weekly interventions in the regular classroom, the SPS practitioner provides support considering the cognitive, emotional, motor and social dimensions of the pupil. This support aims to develop their autonomy and facilitate the organisation of their work. It also includes adapting their environment and structuring time.
SPS is part of the Outpatient Support, Reception and Accommodation Competency Domain (SAmAH) of the Les Perce-Neige Foundation and is seeking a teaching educator to fulfil its mission.
