UNIT MANAGER 80% PERMANENT CONTRACT - Service for Minors (new service)

The Ale Prevention Centre (CPAle) of the MalleyPrairie Foundation is tasked with providing support to adult individuals, men or women, who have committed violence within couples. It offers individual and group consultations to find alternatives to violence.

As part of a new project, CPAle is developing a programme aimed at minors who have committed acts of aggression or violence, referred by the Directorate General for Childhood and Youth (DGEJ) or by cantonal judicial authorities.

For the development of this service, CPAle is looking for:

Main duties:

During the design phase (approximately 5 months):

• Contribute to the development of the concept
• Design and develop the pilot programme under the supervision of the Sector Manager
• Develop contacts with the network

From the implementation of the pilot programme:

• Ensure the smooth daily operation of the unit, providing quality care for beneficiaries and optimal management of human and material resources
• Manage the unit’s services
• Supervise the psychosocial intervention team (initially one person)
• Manage admissions and clinical aspects of the unit
• Work directly with beneficiaries (individual and group follow-up)
• Participate in sector development and cross-cutting projects
• Maintain contacts with the network

Profile sought:

- Recognised higher education qualification in social work HES-SO or equivalent

- Certified training in systemic intervention (minimum CAS or equivalent)

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in social work with adolescents and their families

- Experience in team management is an asset

- Experience in the field of domestic violence

- Good planning, organisation and prioritisation skills

- Strong writing skills and administrative rigour

- Knowledge of the cantonal socio-educational network for the protection of minors
