Job Description

The Institute of Global Health of the Department of Community Health and Medicine is seeking
a 50% lecturer
whose tasks will include:
- Conducting teaching activities at the Master’s level in the following areas:
- qualitative methods in global health
- Swiss health system
- management of health organisations
- public health and health systems
- Leading the Health Organizations Management (HOM) research lab.
- Conducting research within the field.
- Securing funding in the field of health organisation management.
Required Title and Competencies
- Doctorate in sociology or medicine or equivalent
- Additional training in public health and global health
- Privat-Docent
- Experience in health organisation management
- Proven experience teaching CAS, MAS, DAS
- Ability to communicate effectively in French and English, both written and oral
- Autonomy, scientific rigour and organisational skills in a dynamic environment
- Team spirit, collegiality
