The Reformed Church Community Zurich is the largest and most populous church community in Switzerland. With a broad range of meaningful fields of activity, the focus is on the individual. The church community reaches a wide variety of people throughout the city with its offerings. It stands for the needs of a modern and diverse society with its innovative forms of church life.
The innovation project Schenkhaus belongs to the Church Community Zurich and is located in the Seefeld district until February 2027. Afterwards, a move to another central location in Zurich is planned. For our project for young adults from Zurich, we are looking for you as a committed person from November 2026 or by arrangement (initially limited until the end of 2027)
Your Tasks
- Responsibility for and development of innovative spiritual and pastoral offerings of the Schenkhaus project, which are also attractive to those distant from denominations
- Representation of the project externally and close cooperation with the entire Reformed Church Community Zurich
- Co-design and support of Schenkhaus activities, offerings and events for young adults, such as events with concerts, discussion rounds, workshops and other events
- Co-building the Schenkhaus community
Your Profile
- You have a theological or social-diaconal education (dual qualification)
- You identify with Reformed values and engage reflectively with your Christian faith
- You meet young people at eye level and have a sense for their life worlds
- You bring high social competence and pronounced personal responsibility
- You are preferably a member of a regional church
