PROJECT MANAGER (m/f/d)

Your main tasks

As a Project Manager, you take overall responsibility for customer projects – from project acquisition and takeover to the handover of the approved project to series production. You are the central interface between customers, key account management, internal project teams, the series production plant as well as external partners and suppliers. With your structured and solution-oriented way of working, you ensure that technical, qualitative, scheduling and economic project goals are achieved.

• From enquiry to project: You support the Key Account Manager already in the acquisition phase with feasibility, risk analysis, product costing, investment planning and project scheduling and participate in customer presentations during the offer phase.
• Manage projects holistically: After project handover, you take overall responsibility and manage the project according to the Adval Tech Project Management System.
• Connect people and competencies: You coordinate the collaboration between customers, key account management, internal project teams, series production plant as well as external partners and suppliers.
• Develop products together: You coordinate product design and product development in cooperation with internal and external partners and suppliers and ensure that the final product design meets customer specifications as well as all technical and qualitative requirements.
• Keep the schedule in focus: You control project progress, secure customer milestones and ensure that internal project goals are reliably achieved.
• Actively shape changes: You assess changes to product and process with regard to their technical, scheduling and economic impacts.
• Ensure profitability: You keep an eye on product costing, project budget and investments and coordinate the impacts with key account management and project controlling.
• Bring success into series production: You accompany the project until successful approval and structured handover of the project to the series production plant.

Your profile

You combine technical understanding, project management and customer orientation and keep an overview even in complex projects.

• Completed studies in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, industrial engineering, project management or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry, of which at least 2 years in the development of comparable products
• Experience with metal products from stamping and forming processes and/or plastic products from injection moulding processes
• Sound knowledge in quality management, FMEA, APQP and validation processes as well as management systems IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
• Very good English skills in spoken and written form; further language skills are an advantage
• Confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel, as well as project management tools such as MS Project/Gantt
• Strong communication and negotiation skills, confident and professional in dealing with customers and partners
• Strong customer and service orientation as well as the ability to understand customer needs and requirements and translate them into effective solutions
• Self-initiative, reliable and structured with a high quality awareness
• Team-oriented personality with enjoyment of cross-departmental and international collaboration
