The Accounting Manager will oversee and manage all financial transactions and reporting within the Business Services industry. This temporary role in Canton de Vaud requires expertise in accounting and finance to ensure compliance and accuracy in financial operations.

Description
- Execute accounting operations in alignment with applicable laws, standards, and principles
- Supervise daily accounting activities, ensuring full compliance with Swiss accounting standards, including oversight of the general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, intercompany transactions, and reporting accuracy
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve accounting processes and procedures
- Ensure timely and high-quality execution of month-end closings, financial reporting, and quarterly Group consolidation
- Develop and enforce financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to support operational efficiency and compliance
- Manage and optimize cash flow planning and forecasting
- Coordinate and support external audits, tax advisors, and other professional service providers
- Ensure adherence to company policies, Swiss Code of Obligations, and all relevant local, state, and federal reporting requirements, including VAT and tax filings
- Provide strategic financial support to both local and international business units
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting and financial processes
- Lead and support a small team of accountants, fostering their development and performance
Profile
A successful Accounting Manager should have:
- University degree or Brevet in accounting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Business Central and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements (IFRS, Swiss GAAP).
- Fluency in English (minimum C1), and in French (minimum B2), German B2
- Proven experience in managing accounting operations within the Business Services industry.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
