Your team
Operations ensure secure and efficient processing of Pictet's banking transactions and investment funds. Our teams ensure that all activities comply with regulations and manage risks. By developing and maintaining a modern and robust infrastructure, we guarantee reliable and high-quality services for wealth management, asset management, and real estate.
As a member of the External Brokers Trade Processing team, you will be responsible for processing operations involving standard products (shares, bonds, investment funds, ETFs, etc.) carried out by our external managers and the Pictet Asset Management (PAM) entity, in a multi-site environment.
The quality of service provided and an attitude that promotes continuous improvement play a key role for our team and will be expected from you.
Your role
- Account for DVP/RVP operations on standard securities, sending instructions to sub-custodians from external asset managers and PAM.
- Monitor settlement operations and handle failures according to each market to ensure timely settlement and avoid any financial or regulatory impact.
- Manage incidents and reversals related to the activity with a critical eye, proposing appropriate solutions to reduce operational risks.
- Maintain excellent working relationships with other services and departments of the Bank, providing reliable support and suitable solutions when requested.
- Understand the front-to-back value chain and contribute to process optimisation, ensuring compliance with procedures and risk reduction throughout the entire operation lifecycle.
Your profile
- Bachelor/HES in finance, or equivalent training.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in banking operations of the trade processing type.
- Excellent knowledge of settlement activities for delivery versus payment operations as well as the main current regulations (notably CSDR relating to central securities depositories).
- Knowledge of the Avaloq banking software is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Ability to rigorously apply procedures and directives while maintaining a continuous improvement mindset.
- Proficiency in French and English, both written and spoken.
- Residence in Switzerland required.
