For an established Swiss company in the commercial vehicle technology sector, we are looking for a technically skilled individual for vehicle construction. In this varied role, you will work on customised vehicle bodies and modern hydraulic systems, accompanying the vehicles from assembly to delivery. - Mechanical assembly work on various vehicle bodies and technical systems
- Manufacturing and adapting constructions made of steel and aluminium
- Cutting, drilling, adapting, and welding profiles and sheet metal parts
- Assembly and routing of hydraulic lines as well as installation of corresponding components
- Installation and adjustment of electrical or electronic control elements
- Parameterisation and testing of control and remote control systems
- Conducting functional and safety checks before vehicle handover
- Collaboration on customer-specific special solutions and technical adaptations
- Ensuring clean and high-quality execution of work
- Practical experience in assembly, vehicle construction, mechanical engineering, or a related technical environment
- Good knowledge of mechanical processing and ideally experience in welding
- Interest and understanding of hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and implement technical drawings and documents
- Independent, careful, and quality-conscious working style
- High personal responsibility and enjoyment of practical, varied tasks
- Team-oriented and solution-focused personality
- Willingness to familiarise yourself with new products and technical systems
- Driving licence category B

Profile
- Completed technical training in the mechanical field, for example as a polymechanic, vehicle locksmith, agricultural machinery mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, truck mechanic, or comparable- Practical experience in assembly, vehicle construction, mechanical engineering, or a related technical environment
- Good knowledge of mechanical processing and ideally experience in welding
- Interest and understanding of hydraulics, mechanics, and electrical systems
- Ability to read and implement technical drawings and documents
