About the job
The Department of Ageing and Care of the City of Winterthur offers a diverse range of services for the population of Winterthur in its five retirement homes as well as through Spitex. We offer a reliable and sociable person the opportunity to gain initial experience in the service sector during a fixed-term assignment for 6 - 12 months from 1 January 2027 at the Neumarkt Retirement Home.Your Tasks
- Support in service by attending to our residents and guests
- Assistance with daily dining room cleaning
- Help with food preparation
Your Profile
- Desire to gain first experience in the tasks of a hospitality operation
- Enjoyment in dealing with people and an independent personality
- Commitment, teamwork skills, and motivation
- Willingness to work various shifts including weekends and public holidays
- Understanding of the Swiss dialect and oral German language skills
