For 1 November 2026, we are looking for an Assistant Physician whose activity will take place at the Emergency-Crisis Unit, at a 60% rate, within the Northern Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service (SPPAN), Department of Psychiatry at CHUV, in Yverdon-les-Bains.
Context
The University Hospital of Vaud (CHUV) is one of the 5 Swiss university hospitals. Thanks to its collaboration with the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of the University of Lausanne and EPFL, CHUV plays a leading role in medical care, medical research, and education.
The Northern Adult Psychiatry and Psychotherapy Service (SPPAN) is a recognised institution (A1) for FMH psychiatry and psychotherapy and D1-S for advanced training in addiction psychiatry and psychotherapy.
The Emergency-Crisis Unit is an outpatient unit offering intensive integrated psychiatric treatments over a short period, responding to demands for emergency follow-up or crisis management as well as psychiatric assessments or consultations. It actively participates in the regional and cantonal reorganisation of emergency response as required by the General Directorate of Health of the State of Vaud. For the Northern Vaud region in particular, this is achieved notably through closer coordination with the Liaison Psychiatry Unit and the hospital on-call service of SPPAN-CHUV.

- You have a sense of responsibility
- You are proficient in French (minimum B2 level certificate required), for non-French speakers
