About our client

For our client, an established social institution in the Basel area, we are looking for a committed professional in the field of support and care. The company operates several residential facilities for people with cognitive, physical or psychological impairments and places great emphasis on self-determination, individual support and a high quality of life for the people cared for.


Your tasks

• Key worker role as a central element: development of individual service plans as well as personal development goals and their implementation in everyday residential life
• Independent assumption of group leadership within a residential group for adults with disabilities
• Everyday support and holistic assistance of residents taking into account their self-determination and individual needs
• Conducting key worker discussions as well as active exchange with relatives and external specialist agencies
• Practical instruction of students and participation in the interdisciplinary team

Your profile

• Completed training as a Social Pedagogue HF or FH
• Proven professional experience in supporting people with disabilities and/or psychiatric impairments
• Solution-oriented and creative approach to challenging situations
• Empathetic, team-oriented personality with strong social skills
• Willingness to work irregular hours, including approximately one weekend per month
