The Freiburghaus ward offers a versatile and demanding field of work for psychiatric nursing. The focus is on the treatment of patients with complex psychological burdens, especially in the area of trauma-related disorders and sleep disorders. Our treatments are based, among other things, on the CBASP model, which is jointly developed by psychology and nursing, as well as on an integrative nursing concept with group offerings, peer support, and milieu therapeutic approaches.
As a Specialist Responsible for Nursing, you bring your experience and expertise to bear, strengthen the team in implementing evidence-based nursing, and actively contribute to the further development of the ward concept. Together with the ward management and the interprofessional team, you shape patient-oriented nursing, promote nursing quality, and provide impetus for the further development of treatment.
Your tasks
- You contribute your expertise and experience and continuously develop the processes on the ward together with the team
- You support the implementation of the ward concept and actively participate in its further development
- You advise and coach nursing professionals in the nursing treatment process and strengthen the professional competence within the team
- You lead case discussions and promote interprofessional exchange
- You work closely with the ward management and ensure patient- and evidence-oriented nursing
- You take responsibility for ensuring and continuously developing the quality of nursing on the ward
- You continuously develop yourself professionally and personally and bring new ideas and perspectives into everyday ward life
Your profile
- You have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing or a diploma as a nursing specialist HF and are willing to complete the Bachelor’s degree
- You have at least two years of professional experience in psychiatry
- You work goal-oriented, solution-oriented, and place the person at the centre
- You are resilient and appreciate the varied challenges of a semi-acute psychiatric ward
- You work together with the ward management for patient- and evidence-oriented nursing and actively contribute to its further development
- You take responsibility for high nursing quality and are committed to its assurance and further development
