Your Responsibility
As CEO, you bear the primary responsibility for the development, adaptation, and implementation of the strategic and operational objectives of Kantonsspital Glarus AG (KSGL). Focused on patient benefit, you lead KSGL effectively, efficiently, and economically. You drive innovations forward, introduce new ideas, and ensure holistic collaboration on common goals within the interdisciplinary executive team. You act as a link to the Board of Directors and ensure cooperation with our referrers, our partner hospital Kantonsspital Graubünden, other cooperation partners, external interest groups, and authorities. You steer KSGL prudently through constant change and ensure that the quality of services as well as patient and employee satisfaction remain at a high level.
Your Profile
For this demanding role, we are looking for a personality with a completed university degree or equivalent education as well as several years of leadership experience as CEO, managing director, or in an executive function. Professional experience in the Swiss healthcare system or another expert organization is required.
You have broad experience in developing and implementing strategies and concepts. You place patients at the center of all your actions and further advance digital transformation, quality, and innovation. As a charismatic and integrative leader, you know how to convince and inspire with your ideas. Your excellent communication skills and good contact with the Glarus population, resident doctors, and other healthcare organizations are very important to us.

With around 550 employees, approximately 100 million in revenue, and a broadly supported range of specialist disciplines in extended primary care, Kantonsspital Glarus AG is the medical competence center for the population in the canton and the surrounding regions.
