For our client, we are looking for an experienced IT System Engineer - Microsoft Infrastructure (m/f) who wants to help shape modern IT infrastructures and take on technical responsibility. The position combines Microsoft technologies, cloud, virtualisation, and automation in a demanding and versatile environment.

- Design and implementation of modern solutions around Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure
- Automation of recurring operational and engineering tasks with PowerShell and other suitable tools
- Ensuring availability, performance, security, and stability of the managed platforms and services
- Analysis and sustainable resolution of complex faults including root cause analyses and technical optimisation measures
- Further development of virtualisation, backup, monitoring, storage, and security solutions
- Technical collaboration and taking responsibility in infrastructure, migration, and transformation projects
- Advising internal stakeholders as well as maintaining system, architecture, and operational documentation
- Suitable further education such as ICT Platform Development Specialist with federal certificate, certified ICT Manager HF or further training in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, cloud, network or cyber security
- Several years of professional experience in system engineering with a focus on Microsoft Windows and enterprise infrastructures
- Profound knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure, Exchange Online or hybrid, and Teams
- Good knowledge of virtualisation, preferably VMware vSphere, as well as experience with backup, storage, monitoring, network, and security
- Very good knowledge of PowerShell and experience with automation, Git, Ansible or comparable technologies
- Fluent German skills (C2), very good English skills (B2), good Italian and/or French skills are a great advantage
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style, high technical personal responsibility as well as driving licence category B

Responsibilities
- Responsibility for engineering, operation, and further development of a demanding Microsoft Windows infrastructure- Design and implementation of modern solutions around Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, and Azure

Profile
