Job Description

• Independently carry out service and repair orders on venetian blinds, roller shutters, awnings, and other shading systems.
• Dismantle, install, and replace existing systems.
• Replace wear parts such as gearboxes, cranks, straps, bearings, and awning fabrics.
• Retrofit and replace drives within the scope of professional authorisation.
• Identify faults and assess whether repair or replacement is appropriate.
• Take measurements and technical details for quotations and material orders.
• Advise customers on site in a friendly and competent manner.
• Report work, working hours, and material consumption fully digitally.
• Handle service vehicle, tools, and materials carefully.

We expect

• Completed training as a blind fitter EFZ or equivalent training in sun and weather protection; ideally with experience in service and repair.
• Alternatively for retraining: professional background in metal construction or a comparable technical craft profession, with solid practical expertise and installation experience.
• Technical understanding and willingness to familiarise yourself with new products and workflows.
• Ability to work independently and reliably after appropriate induction.
• Driving licence category B.
• Good German skills for customer conversations and written reports as well as understanding of Swiss German.
• Neat appearance, good manners, and enjoyment of customer contact.
• Clean, solution-oriented working style, sense of responsibility, and ability to work in a team.
• Confident handling of ladders and safe working at heights.
