What you can achieve
- Responsible for the technical-operational aspects of the passive ICT basic infrastructure in a security-relevant environment
- Supporting and advising specialist departments, project managers as well as on-site operations and support units
- Analysing technical issues and coordinating the solution finding in nationwide field support
- Planning and providing the ICT basic infrastructure (space, rack, power, cooling, cabling and connectivity)
- Coordinating network components, port extensions as well as infrastructure services (WLAN, VPN)
- Creating and maintaining technical documentation
What you bring with you
- Degree in computer science or apprenticeship as an ICT specialist EFZ or equivalent training with relevant professional experience
- Experience in the field of ICT infrastructure, networks or communication systems
- Independent, structured and service-oriented working style
- Willingness to undertake nationwide assignments and driving licence category B
- Good German and English skills (Level B2)
- Military career as a senior non-commissioned officer or officer is an advantage
