About the job
Voltage - Your Activity
- Planning and control of the daily operation of hydropower plants taking into account water flow, water retention, energy demand and technical conditions
- Continuous monitoring of plant conditions, energy production and system feedback to ensure trouble-free operation
- Work in rotating shift operation (7 x 24 hours / 365 days)
- Contact person for energy trading and transmission system operator Swissgrid
- Various administrative tasks for the operations centre in the back office
Energy - Your Ability
- Technical basic training (electrician EFZ, automation technician EFZ, network electrician EFZ, polymechanic EFZ or comparable qualifications)
- Reliable and independent working style
- Forward-looking and analytical thinking
- Ability to remain calm and solution-oriented even in hectic situations
- High flexibility and willingness to work varying hours according to shift schedule
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness for continuous further training
