WHAT YOU CAN ACHIEVE

• End-to-End Data Pipelines: You design and develop scalable data pipelines along the entire pipeline – from connecting various sources to providing for analytical and operational use cases.
• Modern Data Stack: You use tools like dbt, Airflow, Dagster, Fivetran or Matillion to implement highly efficient ELT/ETL processes on leading cloud data platforms (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks or Microsoft Fabric).
• Architecture & Design: You support our customers in choosing the right architecture – whether Data Lakehouse, Data Mesh or classic Cloud DWH.
• Software Excellence: You rely on containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and automated CI/CD pipelines to make analytics platforms stable and maintainable.
• Innovation: You observe trends in data engineering and evaluate how new technologies (e.g. Iceberg, Polaris, Generative AI integrations) can create added value for our customers.
• AI Competence: You confidently use AI tools in your field, critically assess the results and support customers and adessi in harnessing AI potentials.
• Besides project work, you help shape the community as a speaker, author and socialiser. You are also significantly involved in defining our service portfolio, i.e. creating our solution components and further developing the Data Driven Company.
• Together with adesso sales, you act as a presales consultant and support project acquisition for the Data Driven Company.

HOW YOU SUCCEED

• Background: Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, statistics, mathematics or another analytical subject.
• Tech Stack Expertise: You have solid experience with at least one major cloud data platform (ideally Snowflake, Databricks or MS Fabric) and master SQL as well as Python at a high level.
• Tooling Expertise: You have experience with dbt or another modern data processing tool. You have also worked with a data integration tool like Fivetran.
• Modelling & Concepts: Terms like Data Vault 2.0, Star Schema and Medallion Architecture are not foreign to you but tools to solve complex data problems.
• Certifications: You already hold certifications (e.g. SnowPro Core, Databricks Certified Data Engineer, cloud provider certificates) or have the ambition to obtain them with our support.
• Languages: Very good German and good English skills; French is an advantage.
• Flexibility: You are willing to travel project-related and enjoy working in agile teams.
